Campus Housing During College Edge

UW residence hall housing is available for students who want or need a place to live on campus during College Edge. 

As a College Edge student, you are eligible to live in UW campus housing while taking your course, whether or not you plan to live on campus during the regular academic year. Living on campus is optional, but encouraged. It is a great way to meet other incoming students and build community outside of your seminar.

Available residence halls:
College Edge students are housed in Lander Hall and Oliver Hall (formerly Willow Hall).

Roommates and Fall Housing Options

Students may:

  • Request a College Edge roommate

  • Stay in the same room with that roommate for autumn quarter, or

  • Move to a different room or roommate for the academic year

This flexibility allows you to try out campus living without locking you into a year-long housing decision.

If you plan to live in a fraternity or sorority during autumn quarter, you may still live in UW campus housing during the College Edge program.

Costs, Dates, and Deadlines (Important!)

  • Housing and dining costs are separate from the College Edge program fee

  • Housing application deadlines are earlier than course registration deadlines

  • Housing dates do not exactly match College Edge course dates

Because of this, students interested in campus housing should apply as early as possible.
