Course Changes

You may switch College Edge courses—as space allows—between March 1 and August 23, 2026. Contact college-edge@uw.edu if you want to make a registration change request. 

After August 24, 2026, all course selections are final, and changes are no longer permitted.

We understand that you may not get your first-choice seminar due to small class sizes, but we encourage you to keep an open mind. All College Edge courses are designed specifically for incoming first-year students, have no prerequisites, and fulfill a variety of general education requirements toward your UW degree.

Payment & Refund Policy

Full Refund

March 1 – August 23, 2026

  • Refund: $2,345 (5 credits) or $2,795 (6 credits)

  • Non-refundable: $100 deposit + $55 registration fee

(Total program fee is $2,500 for a 5-credit seminar or $2,950 with the additional add-on course for 6-credits)

Partial Refund

August 24 – September 1, 2026

  • Refund: 50% of tuition and program deposit ($1,172.50 or $1,397.50)

  • Non-refundable: $100 deposit + $55 registration fee

No Refund

After September 2, 2026

  • No refunds are available.

  • Full program fee of $2,500 or $2,950 applies.
