Registration Information

If you're a new, incoming UW student at the University of Washington Seattle campus, you do not need to complete a separate application to enroll in UW College Edge. Simply follow the registration steps below.

Registration Steps
Step 1: Confirm Your UW Enrollment

Log into your New Husky Checklist.

Confirm your commitment to UW and pay your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD).

Verify completion of this step on the UW Admissions website.
Step 2: Explore Course Options
- Review available Discovery Seminars options on the College Edge website.
- Make note of several courses you’re interested in and identify your top choice.
Step 3: Register for a Course

Click the “Register now” button on your chosen course page.

Follow the prompts to enter your information and agree to pay the College Edge program fees.
- 5-credit seminar fee: $2,500 (includes the nonrefundable $55 registration fee + $100 program deposit)
If you’d like, you can add the optional 1-credit course: ARTSCI 150D: AI, Learning, and Early Career
- Additional cost: $450
- Total for 6 credits: $2,950

Step 4: Registration & Payment
- PCE Continuum College will process your registration and place tuition charges on your UW student account.
- Your course(s) will appear as part of your Autumn Quarter 2026 schedule.
- Program fees will be billed in late August and are due by the Autumn Quarter tuition deadline.
- College Edge tuition is charged in addition to regular Autumn Quarter tuition.
- Financial aid and tuition waivers may not apply; consult the UW Financial Aid Office for guidance.
Step 5 (Optional): Apply for Early Housing
- If you plan to live on campus, submit your Early Autumn Quarter Housing application when it opens in May 2026.
- Earlier applications have more housing options available.
Step 6: Receive Confirmation
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once your registration is processed.
- You’ll receive a second email when your course appears in MyUW.
- Be sure to check your UW email regularly — all notifications will be sent to your UW address.
Waitlist & Course Availability
Courses are first-come, first-served.
If your preferred course fills, we recommend selecting another option.
To request a course change, email c2reg@uw.edu with:
- Your full name
- Student number
- Current course
- Requested new course
Course changes are not guaranteed and depend on space availability.
