Courses

Explore Courses. Earn Credit. Start Strong.

College Edge gives new Huskies an early, supportive start at UW. Students take a small Discovery Seminar—an in-person, discussion-based class that builds confidence, connection, and academic momentum before autumn quarter begins. Seminars also include a brief, guided AI activity to help students learn safe, smart habits with tools they’ll use throughout college.

Students can choose courses that meet Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, or Natural Sciences requirements and may add an optional 1-credit companion course, ARTSCI 150, to deepen their learning.

All courses carry full UW credit and count toward the autumn schedule.
